Tanatswa Mapondera (Associate) is passionate about the role of finance in promoting climate change action and environmental sustainability. Since joining CFA, Tanatswa has helped identify policies and finance mechanisms to support a green recovery from COVID-19 and has assessed opportunities and challenges for investing in climate change adaptation and resilience.
Before CFA, Tanatswa was an analyst at a boutique consulting firm, where he supported their strategic research, project monitoring, and business development efforts. During undergrad, he was a member of two student clubs that provided general consulting services to startups and consulting firms in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Tanatswa holds an MS in Management from Georgetown University McDonough School of Business and a BA in Political Economy, along with a minor in Environmental Economics and Policy from UC Berkeley.
