Steven Moser is passionate about delivering the policy and financing framework to ensure a resilient, sustainable future. Steven’s work at CFA has included analyzing government tools to incentivize climate risk integration in insurance markets, evaluating private sector climate resilience initiatives, conducting market research on adaptation financing, and supporting the structuring of a green blended finance facility. He is also contributing to a trans-Atlantic initiative to enhance climate resilience collaboration amongst representatives of the government, private sector, and civil society.
Prior to joining CFA, Steven spent time with the Department of Energy at the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) in Vienna, Austria, helping to design a proposed mini-grid pilot project in rural Kenya and furthering their public outreach efforts, including at the 2019 UN Climate Action Summit. He previously worked with Corkery Group Unlimited to advance private sector efforts to increase access to medicine to the people who need them most in developing countries.
Steven holds an MA from the Johns Hopkins University (JHU) School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), with a focus on International Economics and Energy, Resources, and the Environment (ERE), and a earned a BA in International Relations from the George Washington University.
