Max Russer

Max Russer (Fall Associate) is interested in the financing and development of nature-based solutions to increase resilience for the most vulnerable populations to climate change impacts.

Prior to joining CFA, Max was a research analyst for a consulting firm working to increase access to climate finance for developing countries and develop climate-related knowledge products. In this role, Max contributed to climate finance projects for Small Island Developing States in the Pacific, including the development of several adaptation projects in Micronesia.

Max holds a Master of Environmental Science and Management from the University of California Santa Barbara, and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Policy Analysis and Planning and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from University of California Davis.
