Liz Sukhinenko

Liz (Associate) is interested in analyzing and advocating for a financial system that enables equitable and sustainable development. At CFA, she has researched into the impact of climate risk on financial flows, conducted market analysis for a green innovation facility, and developed capacity building material on climate finance investment opportunities.

Prior to joining CFA, Liz was a consultant with the World Bank’s Finance, Competitiveness and Innovation GP, where she worked on business environment, trade and innovation and entrepreneurship projects in Eastern Europe and Central Asia, and East Asia-Pacific.

Liz holds a Master of Arts in International Development from Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Smith College. She speaks Russian, Italian and French.
