B CorporationSince our founding in 2015, CFA has committed to accelerating sustainable, climate-aligned investment to the benefit society, the economy, and global environment. Our B Corp Certification deepens this resolve and reinforces our commitment to staff, clients, and partners.

Like our B Corp peers, we are a business that balances purpose and profit. We are deeply committed to diversity and inclusion, providing our employees with benefits and flexible work arrangements, and providing them with a living wage. We are proud to have this commitment recognized and to join the B Corp community.

What is a B Corp?

Certified B Corporations™ (B Corps™) are for-profit companies that use the power of business to build a more inclusive and sustainable economy.

They meet the highest verified standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. There are more than 3,700 B Corps in 150 industries and 74 countries around the world.

What does the B Corp certification signify?

The Certification process uses credible, comprehensive, transparent, and independent standards of social and environmental performance. The B Corp assessment process measures a company’s performance in five categories: governance, workers, customers, community, and the environment. The rigorous assessment assures that, for certification, the B Corp must excel in each of these categories.

Becoming a B Corp reinforces our dedication to challenge ourselves to live our corporate mission. As a women-owned small business working at the nexus of investment and climate change, we are proud to join the ranks of other outstanding and impactful businesses across the world, and also be a part of the B Corp Climate Collective.

The B Corp Declaration of Interdependence.

Certified B CorporationWe envision a global economy that uses business as a force for good.

This economy is comprised of a new type of corporation—the B Corporation— which is purpose-driven and creates benefit for all stakeholders, not just shareholders.

As B Corps and leaders of this emerging economy, we believe:

  • That we must be the change we seek in the world.
  • That all business ought to be conducted as if people and place mattered.
  • That, through their products, practices, and profits, businesses should aspire to do no harm, and benefit all.
  • To do so requires that we act with the understanding that we are dependent upon another and thus responsible for each other and future generations.
